During the extensive interaction most of the facts that came out was very interesting and heartening. Neither pandemic nor lockdown was easy for any of us. And there is no fix format to crack such lockdown challenges. Right from March 2020, Just before lockdown was announced some were ready and prepared with their entire team to work from home with good connectivity. Most of them developed system and process to manage most of their activity with minimal staff without getting business affected even a bit. This was used by most as an opportunity to improve system and processes of sales, HR and other aspects of business. A very surprising fact is digitalization- a buzz word but was not even implemented by many big time organization, which finally was adopted during and after lockdown upto some extent. Many companies prioritized employee wellbeing by designing and implementing COVID policy with enough of empathy. New challenges certainly creates new opportunities, and many of us learned to generate alternate source of income.
On personal front most panelists used previous as well as current lockdown period to develop habit like reading books, habit of which they left after college days as getting into hectic business life. Some focused on fitness and lost weight, where as some could set their hands in kitchen and became expert cook. On positive note most of us realized minimalism in personal life is the key learning from pandemic.
Certainly, Pandemic has changed mindset of not only IT Fraternity but the entire trade, and it has thrown an important question which most of us does not have answer to is…
