Lotus Electronics Supermarket, one of the leading electronic stores in Central India had undergone a complete revamp of their flagship store in Sneh Nagar Indore. The retailer, who claims to be the largest electronics store in the country during the launch of this store in early 2000s has come up with their mega revamp in the retail design.
“Currently we have 13 stores across Central India which includes locations like Bhopal, Raipur, Nagpur, Ujjain, Bhilaspur. We are planning to expand with three more stores in this financial year. Those stores will be in and around Central India only.”, he feels.
All the stores of Lotus are present only in high-streets. “Our flagship store is of 16 Thousand sq feet. Other stores are of Eight Thousand sq feet. The front look of the store and the elevation is unique with our logo in the front. We are bringing up a common theme to make the store look clear and subtle.” On the omni-channel presence, he feels that their store has its own app and we are present online through website too. “In my point of view, the products which are model driven are more likely to be sold online. A product which is not popular in terms of model number is likely not to get attracted online. Also, online is to stay. We should be changing according to our trends.”, he concluded.
