TP-LINK Launches 802.11ac Wall Socket-mounted Wireless Range Extender

TPTP-LINK, a global provider of networking products, announced their latest in a series of power socket-mounted Universal range extenders, the RE200 AC750 Universal Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender. The sleek new device is designed to conveniently extend the coverage and improve the signal strength of an existing wireless network to eliminate “dead zones”. Combined, leading wireless 802.11ac technologies, superior security and wider compatibility make the RE200 a secure, high-speed solution that can help users maintain an existing wireless network and vastly improve the network’s coverage, providing the freedom to enjoy Internet anywhere in large areas such as homes, hotels or small offices, without worrying about coverage limits.

The RE200 is also designed to be incredibly easy to set up to improve signal coverage in large homes or offices for experienced or novice users. Users can quickly deploy the device, with no new wires or cables, within range of their existing wireless network, press the ‘range extender’ button and instantly expand their total wireless coverage to previously unreachable locations, eliminating troublesome ‘dead zones’.

With 802.11ac speeds of up to 750Mbps, users can now expand the total range of their 11ac networks while maintaining the incredible speed that they provide. The RE200 provides simultaneous throughput of up to 300Mbps for legacy 2.4GHz networks, and an additional 433Mbps wireless transfer rate at 5GHz.
