NVIDIA 
announced the appointment of two new vice presidents covering its Europe, Middle East and India market.
Jaap Zuiderveld has been named vice president of Sales and Marketing, and Xochilt M. Balzola-Widman has been named vice president of Consumer Business for the region.
Zuiderveld comes to NVIDIA from Colt Technology Services, in London, where he led the enterprise services business’s global direct sales force. Prior to that, he served as chief operations officer and managing director for Europe at ACN, and as chief executive officer at Active 24, where he earlier held the position of chief operations officer for Europe. Zuiderveld has more than 20 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industry, having earlier held roles at Versatel Telecom International, KPN Telecom and British Telecom.
At NVIDIA, he heads the company’s overall activities in Europe, the Middle East and India, including Russia. He is responsible for driving growth in the consumer, enterprise, automotive and embedded businesses.
Balzola-Widmann comes to NVIDIA from Amazon, where she was responsible for the company’s Kindle product line in Central Europe. She is a veteran of the gaming industry, having held senior posts at Activision Blizzard and Electronic Arts.  During her 20-year career, Balzola-Widmann also held management and sales roles for the European divisions of Ingram Micro and Symantec.
She is responsible for driving NVIDIA’s consumer channel business in EMEAI, focusing on GeForce and the SHIELD brand.
