Konica Minolta has been ranked number 1 in the overall ranking of the Environmental Management Survey by the Nikkei Environment Management,which is one of the most prestigious assessment institutions, and they have been assessing enterprises in Japan for their environmental initiatives annually since 1997.
The company rigorously measures enterprises on five parameters,viz.,Environmental Management System, Pollution Abatement &Biodiversity measures,Resource Circulation, Product Ecology and Global Warming Reduction.
The survey was carried out in August–November, 2014 for 726 companies. With this outstanding result Konica Minolta, who are leaders in the field of imaging innovations,has improved on its performance for the same survey last year when it was ranked 6th.
