Trichy/ Madurai: Chennai based partner, Computer Waves, has recently conducted a partner meet in Trichy and Madurai for explaining the various deliverables of Dell enterprise products. The partners were introduced key products of Dell enterprise products like Optiplex desktop, Lattitude laptops, Chrome books, Power Edge servers, Workstations, Thin clients, Storage, Networking switches, Spares and few services.

Partners need Training:

The event in Trichy had mainly sessions on how a traditional channel partner can advantage by selling the enterprise products of Dell and how they can increase profitability through selling the Dell software. The resource person from Dell had explained the partners, the best way Dell can support partners from placing the order till executing and serving. The partners were also given session to seek doubts and team from Dell had clarified the same.

IMG_5818A small focus group discussion was organized by the organizers in the sidelines of the event where the key partners in the market had participated. Some of the key concerns of the partners in the region are prompt training for the partners in terms of technology. The partners were telling that the vendors should ensure they provide prompt training for the partners in terms of the latest updates in terms of the product and solutions. Also, the partners have the feeling that the distributors should bring transparency to the entire value-chain.

The event in Madurai also had similar sessions where the partners were educated on how the technology in their region is adopted to the changing enterprise demands. There were also discussions on the day today challenges a partner has in working with the clients. Some partners also shared their expectation over the solutions versus the available products in the market. The Madurai event also had entertainment sessions by a leading stand-up comedian.
