AP MSME Development Corporation to be set up with Rs 100 cr:CM
 CM assures MSME bhavan in  15 acres of land in Amaravati for research and training for small entrepreneurs
 CM appeals small entrepreneurs to adopt latest technology
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that the Andhra Pradesh Micro, Small and medium enterprises development corporation would be set up with a budget of Rs 100 cr to strengthen MSMEs in the state. Launching the logo of AP MSMEDC, he said the corporation would help to develop marketing, branding, skill development and quality improvement of products.
He said that MSME parks would be developed in all assembly constituencies to minimise the infrastructure costs.
Earlier a small woman entrepreneur Bindu, who set up a plastic manufacturing unit in Chittoor district explained the reasons for her success and stated that Chief Minister himself is a great inspiration.
Another small entrepreneur P Ravikumar of Visakhapatnam said that he is able to get permission for his unit within 21 days under single window system.
Another entrepreneur Datta Prasad of Machilipatnam explained how they developed their electromagnetic infrastructure units and supplying components to Indian Army defence units.
Durga Prasad of Chamber of commerce said a research and development unit should be set up in Vijayawada as Auto Nagar in Vijayawada emerged as largest auto components production centre.
Earlier Minister for Industries N Amarnatha Reddy addressed the small entrepreneurs.
Industries department signed six MoUs with Quality Control of India, National Productivity Council, National Stock Exchange, Himani Agro Tech, Krishnapatnam Port Ltd., to impart training, franchise, hand holding and for other logistics to the new entrepreneurs to start their industries in Andhra Pradesh.
