PCAIT participates in “Predatory Price” protest cachet of FAIITA

The Progressive Channel Association of IT or PCAIT is set to participate in the protest cachet of FAIITA against the ongoing predatory pricing policies.

At the executive council meeting of PCAIT held on December 12th 2014, it has been resolved that all its members will voluntarily participate in protest cachet of Federation of All India IT Associations(FAIITA) against brand owners inability to keep check on “Predatory Prices” offered at the e-Commerce portals.

According to the official communication by PCAIT, “All PCAIT members are directed to voluntarily refrain from purchases from National Distributors or brand-owners from December 15th 2014 till further advisory. It is noteworthy that all States have wholeheartedly come forward to make this symbiotic channel survival initiative a success. Notably FAIITA has had inconclusive discussions with major brand-owners like Dell, HP, Lenovo,Canon, Acer, Asus etc. whilst all have expressed intent but inability to check this menace within the legal frame work of the country, ergo leaving with only option of symbiotic channel protest,” explains the communications from PCAIT to its members.
