The Association of System Integrators and Retailers in Technology (ASIRT) successfully conducted its 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Hotel Parle International, Mumbai, followed by its flagship TechDay #140.
Operating under its core philosophy to “PARTNER PROGRESS EVOLVE”, the eventful day was marked by transparency in governance, seamless board elections, and high-value knowledge sharing for its members.
Annual General Meeting Proceedings
The AGM began at 4:30 PM post adjournment for want of quorum, with a welcome address by the Honorary Secretary. Key proceedings included:
- Reading and approving the minutes of the 13th AGM held in September 2025.
- Addresses by the Chairman and President reviewing the year’s activities and achievements.
- Presentation of the Treasurer’s Report and approval of the audited Balance Sheet and Income Expenditure account for FY 2025-2026.
- Approval and appointment of auditors for the Financial Year 2026-2027.
The AGM reaffirmed ASIRT’s culture of accountability, community engagement, and collaborative growth.
Unanimous Board Elections
During the meeting, Returning Officer Ravi Bhavnani officially announced the results for the two vacant Board Member positions. Following a thorough nomination and scrutiny process, the number of valid candidates perfectly matched the two available vacancies.
Consequently, Satish Bhanushali (Intech Computers) and Tejas Sangani (Axel Enterprises) were declared elected unopposed to the ASIRT Board for a three-year term.
Following the retirement of members completing their terms and the addition of the newly elected members and co-opt members, the ASIRT Board now consists of the following individuals:

TechDay #140: Innovation, Market Strategy, and Business Blueprints
Immediately following the AGM, ASIRT hosted TechDay #140, which featured an array of powerful partner and expert sessions:
- Aliter Business Solutions: Samit Upadhyay and Vijay Sabharwal showcased their cutting-edge Industry 4.0 and IoT offerings, explaining how their technology monitors energy, equipment efficiency, and facility safety in real-time.
- Mumbai Data Recovery: Akshay “Bala” Choubey highlighted his firm’s specialized capabilities in recovering data from SSDs, NVMe drives, and CCTV systems, emphasizing his zero-advance-payment policy and steadfast commitment to IT partners.
- Market Strategy Insights: Newly elected board member Satish Bhanushali addressed the current market challenges of delayed customer purchase decisions, guiding partners to proactively explain the “cost of delay” through direct customer visits.
The centerpiece of the TechDay was a keynote address by TedX speaker and Founder Director of SAO Foods, Dr. Vijay Bijlani. Presenting on the “Business Blueprint,” Dr. Bijlani guided ASIRT members through the critical steps of defining a core business, differentiating between customers and consumers, and mastering authentic storytelling. Through compelling corporate case studies, he demonstrated that identifying and solving a core challenge is the hallmark of true entrepreneurship.
Networking Dinner
As with every TechDay, the evening ended with ASIRT’s signature networking dinner, giving members a relaxed environment to strengthen connections, exchange ideas, and celebrate the milestone day.
