FAIITA raised various concerns in the meeting, points are as listed below:
1) Activation-Based Sell-Out Claims Settlement
All sell-out claims must be strictly linked to activations. Sell-out ratios must be maintained above 5%, and during peak seasons, capped at 10%. This ensures transparency, strengthens partner trust, and improves operational efficiency.
Additionally, we request: Serial-number–wise claim status, One unified monthly consolidated Excel & A responsible Account Manager to clearly explain monthly programs, targets, and achievements.
2) Offline Partner Program Announcement
Propose launching a major 2025 Offline Initiative before year-end, with 3–4 offline sale events annually across seasons.
The program should include: Aggressive discount structures, Impactful promotional schemes & Strong stock liquidation support, This will reinforce channel strength and deepen partner confidence.
3) Online Deliveries Through Partner Stores
Enable online deliveries through local HP partner stores, supported by in-store Click, Order & Collect kiosks.
This ensures: A unified and seamless HP brand experience m & Increased offline partner participation in HP’s online journey.
4) Service Offerings Through Partner Stores
Authorize HP partner stores to provide official HP service support.
Benefits include: Higher customer trust, Better post-sale satisfaction & Stronger long term loyalty.
5) Exclusive FAIITA Partner SKU (Quarterly Launch)
Requesting one exclusive SKU per quarter for FAIITA partners.
Suggested Specification:
i5 / 8GB / 1TB / 15.6” / Windows 11 / MS Office (RAM upgradable) Target Cost: ₹40,000
This will ensure: Healthy partner profitability & Fair channel competition.
6) Demo & Rental Unit Policy Clarity
Request transparent, uniform guidelines on demo and rental units.
Purpose: Ensure fair parity across all HP-authorized stores, Avoid partner confusion and uneven access.
7) Consumer vs Commercial Model Price Conflict & Minimum ROI Framework
Price Conflict:
There is a growing price mismatch between Consumer and Commercial models, Commercial models, which command a higher price due to better build quality and enterprise-grade features, are being offered at lower market prices.
This is causing: Price parity issues, Partner dissatisfaction &Disruption in the commercial business ecosystem.
Minimum ROI Framework:
Request a minimum assured ROI model to safeguard offline partners and ensure: Sustainable profitability, Long-term business continuity & Stability in HP’s offline channel ecosystem.
8) Lifetime Price Protection
Request lifetime price protection (valid until the unit is sold). Currently, models older than one year are not covered, leaving partners with idle inventory and financial loss.
This protection will: Prevent margin erosion & Safeguard partners from sudden price drops and online undercutting
9) Target Alignment: SO 80% = ST
Recommend aligning Sell-Out targets to 80% of Sell-Through for realistic and achievable partner performance goals.
Also request: Removal of compulsory Bag Connect linkage, enabling greater flexibility and fairness in assessments.
10) Nationwide Implementation of OMO & O2O
Advocate for a national-level rollout of Online-Merge-Offline (OMO) and Online to Offline (O2O) frameworks.
This will help build: A balanced, future-ready retail ecosystem & Mutual growth for HP and the offline partner community.
