Infotech Software Dealers Association (ISODA) a premier association representing the Indian IT Software industry will be hosting their First Physical Event – ISODA Reconnect 2022 after a Gap of 2 years. The event would be physical with options for accessing the event online 2nd to 4th March 2022 in a private resort in Goa. More then 100 members of the association had registered and expected to attend physically.Â
As the Members would be meeting each other after a gap of 2 years, this event has been planned on a theme of Reconnect. “We plan to have a Conference Session for just 4 hours and 44 hours of pure nun and networking. The IT fraternity was having only virtual events. However, ISODA feel that members are looking in for networking by meeting physically and hence this event is done in physical format. All protocols to COVID would be taken care of when we are doing this physical event. This event would be a hybrid event, where members who were not able to join us because of their earlier commitment can join us virtually also.”, says Jitesh Chauhaan, president of the association and official spokesperson for the event.
Speaking on the reason for selecting Goa, he said, “The reason was Connectivity. Most of the Cities in India have direct connectivity to Goa , and hence this location was chosen.” This Event is predominantly an event for networking among the members. We are going to have 4 hours of Seminar and 44 hours of Fun and networking. The Theme of this event is ‘Reconnect 2022’. As we are meeting after 2 years.”
The association is talking to a lot of sponsors and most of the sponsors have shown interest in coming on board as Sponsors. Speaking on the way sponsorship scenario has also evolved against a cost-effective digital sponsorships, Jitesh said, “A sponsor’s biggest advantage of coming to ISODA is the presence of CEO / Stakeholders of companies coming physically. One can never get stakeholders of 100 companies under one roof with maximum attention span. Physical Sponsorship has its own advantage then going in for Digital Sponsorship.”
The Tech Summit is the flagship event which happens every year and this year they are doing it in Indian soil as travel is not opened. “The TechSummit has not been planned this year.ISODA has been organizing events locally and offshore. As travel to Offshore has still not opened , the forum is doing this session locally.”, Jitesh concluded.
