The innovative solution by Panasonic’s System Solutions Division (SSD) allows businesses, irrespective of their size, to deploy eSignCards that can be updated with information wirelessly in real-time through a centralized cloud-based system accessible from smartphones. The battery-operated eSignCard leverages Panasonic’s strategic alliance with E Ink, an ePaper technology that consumes low energy. The eSignCard solution has a wide range of applications, including replacing workstation name tags in corporate offices, educational institutes, and hospitals; displaying event agendas in conference rooms and hotel banquets; highlighting special discounts in retail stores; and presenting offers and menus in cafes and restaurants, among other uses.
