I’m really excited about today’s news which builds on the momentum we have been experiencing with HPE GreenLake.
As HPE’s CEO Antonio Neri shared today, we’ve launched the HPE GreenLake unified operating experience, new cloud services for critical areas like networking, data services, block storage, back-up and recovery, high performance computing, compute ops manager as well as HPE GreenLake for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI. We also announced the availability of HPE GreenLake in the online marketplaces of leading distributors and a new agreement with Digital Realty, one of the largest global colocation facility providers.
t’s fantastic to see that our customers and partners are building their businesses around the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform, and that all these exciting new capabilities will now provide an even more unique experience for them.
Multi-cloud experiences wherever your data lives
Several key technology trends are shaping the IT industry, and they align directly with our edge-to-cloud strategy through our HPE GreenLake platform offering.
The edge is creating new sources of data. Our customers need secure connectivity to power the emerging distributed enterprise with remote workforces, while delivering new digital experiences to their stakeholders.
The world is hybrid. Cloud is an experience that customers increasingly expect to have wherever their workloads live. The result is a growing demand for multi-cloud experiences – including clouds that live on-premises, at the edge, in colocations or in a public cloud.
We have entered the Age of Insight, and data is the most precious asset. Digital transformation is creating new possibilities for enterprises, and customers need solutions to extract insights from their data to accelerate business outcomes.
And, when customers tell us they want to address these market shifts, they are increasingly looking to do so through an agile as-a-service consumption model that enables them to pay only for the IT they use. An example is Barclays, which is using HPE GreenLake to deliver its private cloud platform as part of the bank’s hybrid multi-cloud strategy and digital transformation across its global banking businesses.

As announced today HPE GreenLake is offered through cloud marketplaces of several of the world’s leading distributors, including Ingram Micro, ALSO, Tech Data, Synnex, and Arrow. Now more than 100,000 reseller partners can leverage HPE GreenLake to deliver a cloud experience directly to their customers.
And for customers who prefer a colocation model, we have formed a strategic partnership with Digital Realty that will enable us to offer our customers greater choice with HPE GreenLake in colocations to securely host and manage cloud services in Digital Realty’s modernized, sustainable facilities. Customers will see great benefits with this partnership from one contract agreements and invoices, from design to support, with preconfigured solutions and one integrated service management process that helps them speed up time to value and innovation.
HPE GreenLake now also available for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI
We are truly excited to enhance our hybrid offerings with Microsoft with the introduction of HPE GreenLake for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI as an integrated system. This provides a pre-built offering, configured for faster deployment, is a cloud service that allows users to run Windows and Linux virtual machines in a hybrid cloud environment, on-premises and at the edge, and leverages Microsoft Azure tools and services with a preconfigured, pay-per-use service from HPE GreenLake.
As customers modernize their infrastructure, they want to be able to use resources in a consistent way across public and on-prem without the complexity and have it all managed for them across Azure and Azure Stack HCI integrated with GreenLake. This gives them a powerful and agile hybrid offering for their datacenter, branch offices, SQL Server apps and VDI environments.
