2009 Batch IAS office Mr, Saurabh Kumar who is former IIT, Powai student is taking innovation to field. Presently working as collector of Dantewada district which is in LWE effected area of Chhattisgarh 
region has came up with an initiative to support Tribals of his district. With Hon. PM of India calling for sweet revolution this young IAS officer has gone a step further and developed a mobile Honey processing unit. The aim of this innovative idea is to help 10,000 tribals in the region to take advantage of technology and gain value for their honey. This mobile honey processing unit unlike regular units work at low power and on the field (door step of honey producer). With market linkages established this idea is changing the face of the region. We wish more IAS officers like him with take steps needed for the real New India that we all want to see.
This bus was recently launched at GES event held in Hyderabad on 28,29 and 30th where Advisor to USA president Ms. Ivanka Trump and Hon. PM of India Shri. Narendra Modi was present.
