TP-LINK announced that the company led consumer worldwide WLAN market share in Q1 2016 this lead is maintained by TP-LINK for 22 consecutive quarters, according to the most recent research published by leading IT market research and advisory firm IDC, which ranked the world’s wireless networking equipment vendors by product shipments and revenues.
The IDC Worldwide Quarterly WLAN Tracker – Q1 2016 Final Release – indicates that TP-LINK dominates its marketplace in market share (measured by units shipped):
• TP-LINK ranks number one globally at 45.94% market share
• The closest competitor has a 7.95% market share
