Nellore: With the help of the sales tax executives, the computer dealers association of Nellore (CDAN) has recently conducted a meeting for the members on the fothcoming Goods and Service Tax.
The programme was conducted mainly for bringing awareness among the members on how the GST will work. Experts from Sales tax departments and auditors with prompt knowledge on the new tax structure spoke on that. The three-hour long meeting had discussion on the billing procedures of GST, impact of GST for small traders and the post-implementation impacts of the new tax structures. The association had also invited traders from other regions also.
B.V. Deepak, the spokesperson for the association, said, “The bifurcation of the state will have significant implications on resource flow to the two new States – Telangana and new Andhra Pradesh – and on their economic development. In the long run, both of the regions are likely to benefit. Ffor IT market it seems to be benefited due to setting up the new capital at Amravati and there other branches. Development seems to be little slow due to lack of funds same it reflects to IT requirements also. We expected huge penetration for IT markets but not upto the mark.”
Speaking on the new manufaccturing hub Sri City, he said, when business (Sricity) in the district was

However, but some of the requirements are fulfilled from players in Chennai because of the vicinity and transportation. “We There should be rule passed by the govt to the factories/companies to procure all necessary all IT requirements locally itself it will directly benefited to the AP state govt by way of taxes.
Some of the plans of the association in the days ahead are regularly meeting all the members and discussing on the business issues. Last Gandhi jayanthi, the association had sponsored washing machine and few necessary items donated to a local old age home. The association will continue such activities in the fortcoming days too.
