Following the directions given by the Chief Minister in the last review meeting, officials have discussed with 4 groups of departments, the Primary Sector, Education, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development and Welfare and have prioritised services categorised in different modules.

The scope of work for digital transformation services was defined for 19 departments, as a part of Phase 1. This phase also includes the Core platform, which has modules like People’s Hub, Land Hub, e-Highway, AP-p Store, Mee-Seva and Big Data Analytics.

In the Education sector, 25 services have been finalised, that can be classified into 7 modules: Student Management, e-Learning, Faculty Management, Education Governance, Institution Management, Attendance Management and Examinations. Officials demonstrated a prototype of the Education package, to show the working of the Institution Management module, in admission processes.

In the Welfare sector, 18 services in 5 modules have been defined. The 5 modules are Beneficiary Management, Administration, Diet, Hostels/Residential Schools, Scholarship & Loans.

The 6 modules created for the Primary Sector are Disaster Management, Extension Services (Farmer Hub, Crop Planning, Soil Health Management), Loans/Insurance, Storage & Marketing and Farm Management.

The 25 services for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development are divided into 6 modules: Planning, Certifications, Water & Sanitation, Training, Engineering and Fund Management.

For the Revenue Sector, the 4 prioritised modules are Land Record, Regulatory, Service Management and Administration.

The Chief Minister was happy with the progress, and asked officials to speculate the definition of Core services. “Services that will be require to be integrated with every department as well as the public, must be developed in a certain way.”
