Infosys, Tennis Australia, Tennis Victoria, and Tennis New South Wales Collaborate to Nurture Digital Learning and Leadership Skills for Future Leaders

Infosys (NSE, BSE, NYSE: INFY), a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, announced that it has collaborated with Tennis Australia, Tennis Victoria, and Tennis New South Wales to nurture future leaders in the states of Victoria and New South Wales.

The Future Leaders Program is designed to equip Year 9, 10, and 11 students from metropolitan and regional tennis clubs in Victoria and New South Wales to develop their leadership skills. To deliver the program, Infosys has built a bespoke version of Infosys Springboard, the company’s digital learning and collaboration platform for the community, that provides participants with the opportunity to learn transferrable skills in areas such as inclusion, leadership, technology, and design thinking.

This collaboration for the Future Leaders Program is an important part of Infosys’ Australian Open Digital Innovation Partnership and its aspirations to serve the community. The partnership, which has been extended until 2026, continues to focus on building digital experiences for all stakeholders associated with the sport, serving the shared vision of “tennis for everyone”.

The first cohort of students from Victoria to use Infosys’ Springboard digital learning platform graduated from the Future Leaders Program in April 2023. The program in Victoria included a three-day Future Leaders camp during which students spend a day at Infosys’ state of the art Melbourne Living Lab. Students immersed themselves in digital experiences including learning about the Metaverse, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, and how these technologies are shaping tennis, our communities, and the world.

The students in Victoria also participated in a Future Leaders Day at the Australian Open 2023. This included participating in a Tennis Clinic with Australian tennis legend, Casey Dellacqua and learning about sustainability at Infosys’ carbon neutral fan zone.

Ashok Mysore, Vice President, Infosys, and Regional Head, Delivery and Operations, Australia & New Zealand said, “This collaboration with Tennis Australia takes our Digital Innovation partnership for the Australian Open beyond the court into the broader community. Through a bespoke version of our digital learning and collaboration platform, Infosys Springboard, and our Living Labs, budding leaders in Victoria and New South Wales will have access to important digital and leadership skills.”

Cedric Cornelis, Chief Commercial Officer, Tennis Australia said, “We are excited to see Infosys’ innovations positively impact grassroots tennis communities in Victoria and New South Wales. Through Infosys’ Springboard platform, our young people will have the opportunity to learn valuable and transferable skills, setting them up to be future leaders.”

Adam Crameri, CEO of Tennis Victoria said, “We’re delighted to partner with Infosys on the Tennis Victoria Future Leaders Program. The young people that come through our clubs have so much potential and it’s wonderful to be able to give them the opportunity to develop their leadership skills.”

Darren Simpson, CEO of Tennis New South Wales said, “The Future Leaders Program is designed to help inspire our next generation of tennis leaders in New South Wales. We’re looking forward to collaborating with Infosys and extending its digital learning platform Infosys Springboard to deliver immersive learning experiences for the next generation of leaders in the tennis community.”
