Federation of IT dealers association Karnataka (FITDAK) conducts Annual General Meeting on 21st and 22nd May 2022 at Hotel Motimahal, Mangalore. In this meeting all the district associations- AIT Bangalore, DEAL IT Mysore, DITDA Davangere, CDITDA Chitradurga, COORG IT Association, DDAIT Hubli, SITA Shimoga attended.
On 21st, the event started with lighting of the lamp at Vajra Hall in Hotel Motimahal, Melwyn Dias welcomed the gathering.
HP was main sponsor of the event and WD was the co-sponsor. Digisol and Busy Accounting were the stall sponsors. Savex also took part a sponsor.
Dhruba Jyothi Das from HP gave the presentation on HP products and also gave his view on the way IT dealers should plan their 
future of their business. Srinivas Sampangi from WD gave the presentation on WD and threw light on the leadership of WD in storage business and also the range of products they are presently into. Suman Kumar from Digisol spoke on their company product profile. Ismail from Busy Account Software spoke regarding their range of products. Jeyalakshmi Venkatraman, Vice President, FITDAK talked on “Future Scope for Business Enhancement in IT Industry”
There was a Panel discussion with Sujai Monterio as the moderator and Sai Rao President FITDAK, Malatesh State Co-ordinator FITDAK, Harish Secretary FITDAK, Sathish Rao Secretary AIT Bangalore as the Panelist.
The topic given for discussion were:
1.Business Dynamics Post Pandemic How has IT business evolved?
2.Is OLS gaining momentum? How can Brick and mortar businesses counter E-Commerce?
3.Strategy to capture new clients, Advice to IT dealers.
4.Government Schemes, How aware are we?
Sai Rao felicitated all the presidents of district associations. He spoke to the gathering on the importance of being part of the association. He stressed on networking of all partners across state which would give definite benefit in the business. He said, “Sports event should be conducted regularly between associations so that members take out some time out of their busy schedule. Dealers should diversify to the new area to keep their momentum of growth. He spoke on the dearth of technical qualified staff which is the most needed thing at present.
Kaushik Pandya, President, Federation of All India IT Dealers (FAIITA) wished FITDAK team through video call. He gave an inspirational and motivational talk to all members present and also he spoke on online platform IT mall to be launched shortly for the benefit of all IT dealers.
Mangalore IT dealers association (MITDA) did the installation ceremony. Sudhir Shetty installed Bharath Shetty, President of MITDA and all other office bearers. Vote of thanks was given by Murali, there on continuing with cocktail and dinner.
On 22nd May it was AGM & Election of FITDAK 2022. Sai Rao welcomed the FITDAK EC members. Harisha Presented the Secretary report and financials of FITDAK. Election was conducted by Sujai Monterio for the new Office bearer of FITDAK 2022. Mahesh was elected as the President FITDAK for 2022-24 and the whole team of office bearers were unanimously elected. Mahesh spoke on his views on taking FITDAK to new levels.

All the members were taken on a Boat Cruise for lunch on the first day, everyone had a great time. Overall, the two day event ended successfully.
