In the run up to the 10th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS), the state government is organizing national and international roadshows to interact with industry & business leaders and to invite them for the upcoming summit in January 2024. After the success of the curtain raiser event in New Delhi, the government also organised roadshows in Mumbai, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Chennai and Lucknow and showcased Vibrant Gujarat globally in Japan, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Singapore, Australia, France, UAE, Vietnam, South Korea and USA. The Government of Gujarat is now set to hold a national roadshow in Bengaluru on 9th November 2023.
The roadshow will be led by Shri Balvantsinh Rajput, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Micro, Small and Medium Industries, Cottage, Khadi and Rural Industries, Civil Aviation, Labour and Employment, Government of Gujarat. It aims to highlight Gujarat as a ‘Gateway to the Future’ through the VGGS 2024. This will enable businesses and companies to explore areas of collaboration and cooperation across various sectors such as IT & ITeS, Semiconductor, Electronics, Aerospace & Defense, & Biotechnology and to attract investments in future-ready mega projects such as GIFT City, Dholera SIR and Biotech Park.
The roadshow will begin with a welcome address by Mr. K. Ullas Kamath, Chairman-FICCI Karnataka State Council and Joint Managing Director, Jyothy Laboratories followed by screening of Audio-Visual Film on Vibrant Gujarat and a presentation on Business opportunities in Gujarat by Dr. Rahul Gupta, IAS, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC). An experience sharing session will be held in which Mr. Gaurav Sharma, Vice President, IBM Cloud and Cognitive Software, and Mr. Viraj Mehta, Director, Global Capability Center at The Kraft Heinz Company will speak on their experience of investing in Gujarat. The gathering will also witness an address by Shri Balvantsinh Rajput, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Government of Gujarat. The event will conclude with a vote of thanks by Shri Tushar Bhatt, IAS, Managing Director, Gujarat Informatics Limited.
