Hitachi giving skill training on Air conditioning repair and maintenance course

3M7A9359A joint collaboration between the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), Industrial Training Center and Johnson Controls – Hitachi Air Conditioning India Limited (JCH-IN) giving skill training on Air conditioning repair and maintenance course, APSSDC MD & CEO K. Sambasiva Rao said. Gurmeet Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, JCH-IN, and K. Sambasiva Rao, APSSDC MD & CEO started a model skill development center in Govt ITI College, Vijayawada.

Speaking on this occasion, K. Sambasiva Rao said that, Hitachi Company was started the first phase across the state has been facilitated to provide training in Air conditioning repair and maintenance courses in five ITI colleges. Already two model Skill Development Centers started in Kakinada and Vijayawada. The next phase would have centers in Nellore, Anantapur and Vishakhapatnam by end of next year. There is good demand for the AC Repair division in the market. We hope trainees will benefit from Hitachi’s technical expertise. He also suggested that the youth should take advantage of the skill training provided by a large organization like Hitachi. He said that not only five centers but also to set up more centers across the state. In this model skill development, the organization is giving training to 30 students for 3 months in the AC Repair and Maintenance.

Later, Gurmeet Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, JCH-IN, said that, so far, we are implementing training programs only in Gujarat. He thanked Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for providing technical training for youth in the state as part of Corporate Social Responsibility. There are no experts even though there is good demand in the market for AC repairing and maintenance. In order to increase it, we have come up with an APSSDC to train young people in the state. Later, he responded to the question of media representatives whether the idea of establishing a Hitachi company in the state was on this occasion. We do not have the idea of setting up a new plant at the moment. If the proposal comes, then their first priority will be Andhra Pradesh, Gurmeet Singh said. On this program APSSDC Executive Director Anil Kumar, ITI College Principal Radha Krishna and others are attended.
