APSDCC aims to provide training to 8 lakh people

SSF_3655National Skill Development Agency Director General Sunitha Sanghvi congratulated the students of the state and unemployed youth for the skill development programs undertaken by the Andhra Pradesh Government and AP State Skill Development Corporation (APSDCC). She said “Andhra Pradesh is in the forefront of providing skill training for youth. NDAA is a key element in providing employment opportunities for youth. The job opportunities will be increased by selecting the areas where demand is demanded and skillful training of youth.” On this occasion she also explained the programs implemented across the country under the NSDA.

On Thursday, The state-level workshop was conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and National School Development Agency (NSDA). In this event, the Director General Sunita Sanghvi, the state government’s Special Chief SecretariesJ.S.V. Prasad, L.V. Subramanyam, Bhanu Prakash Eturu, IAS, SEEDAP CEO Dr. M. Varaprasad, APSSDC MD &CEO K. Sambasiva Rao and many central government officials, all the districts of the 350 Training partners attended.

JVV Prasad, Special Secretary General of State Government, said that “In the last four years across the state, under the auspices of APSSDC, many skill training programs for students and unemployed youth are being implemented. There are a lot of youth in our country compared to other countries. They will be partners in national economic development by giving them the right guidance. We are providing advanced technical training to engineering and diploma students in the state in cooperation with International Organization of Siemens. Besides, it is giving skills training in English, soft skills and computational thinking to 188 social welfare and 237 tribal welfare schools.”

The state government’s special secretary L.V. Subramanyam said that “The Chief Minister of the state will soon launch a special program for unemployed youth. There is now a special debate on the development of skills across the country. Skilled Industries are playing a key role in providing young people with employment and employment opportunities and providing expertise to industry.”

Later, APSSDC MD & CEO K. Sambasiva Rao said that “Under the auspices of the AP Sate Skill Development Corporation, the students and training programs for unemployed youth are explained by the power point presentation. This year we aim to provide training to 8 lakh people. For the first time in the country Dassault will be trained in Aerospace, Automobile and Ship Building departments. Furthermore, we have already trained 120 people in the first batch of Drone Technology under APSSDC. This year we have been training 1000 people. In addition, engineering students are trained with international organizations such as Google, Udacity, Amazon, Coursera and Autodesk. Degree students are employed in Certification Courses with Tally, Zoho, Amazon Web Services, NSE Academy, and Insta EMI at the Employability Skills Center. With the help of Brunel University, London one lakh students and thousands of teachers have been targeted to train in the Artificial Intelligence Department.”

SSF_3641Then, Central government officials from Delhi have explained about the training programsrun under the guidance National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), National Skill Development Agency (NSDA), National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF), Directorate General of Training (DGT) to the training partners who attended from various parts across the state. They answered many questions in this regard.
