Recently, COMPASS did the honours to host the IVth FAIITA CONCLAVE which was attended by over fifty leaders from various state associations and federations in the country. The event started with welcome address by Pawan Jajodia, the president of COMPASS, Saket Kapur, the general secretary of FAIITA and visionary address by Champak Raj Gurjar, the president of FAIITA. This was followed by lamp lightning by all the office bearers of FAIITA.
“Growth with Unity” was the theme of IVth FAIITA CONCLAVE in the similar lines addressed by President in IIIrd conclave in Mumbai. Well curated agenda included open session for state presidents to express their iffy issues followed by review of progress of committees formed during IIIrd FAIITA conclave in Mumbai. Predatory pricing and warranty issues of brand owners will be henceforth dealt proactively by the OLS committee. Grievances and business disputes amongst members and members with ND/RD/Customer will be settled fairly through ADR.
Highlight of the event was rapt presentation by Nick Chen of FOXCONN who flew specially from TAIWAN at the behest of President Champak Raj Gurjar with an offer for FAIITA members on their IIDM and ODM product distribution tie ups. The audacious statement by Nick Chen on opportunity of every FAIITA member to become Steve jobs through their High Tech India and Export India initiatives received a rapturous applause from the leaders.
President Champak Raj Gurjar announced commencement of SME chapter in FAIITA with sole objective for its members to take advantage of business emanating from the Government of India initiatives of “Digital India” and “Make in India” through synergetic member consortiums.
