SNS Infotech Focuses Strongly On SMB, Large Enterprises

Mumbai based SNS infotech, a leading player with expertise on areas including E-Mail management, system administration, application support, back up solutions and security (both physical and network) is planning to expand their wings. Having strong base in Maharastra, this fast-growing firm is eyeing on PAN-India expansion with special focus on SMB and large enterprises. Santosh Dhareshivkar, Director – Sales, in an exclusive chat for Cell IT explain the company’s offering and plans ahead.

Santosh Dhareshivkar (Santosh):
We are foresee big opportunity in Data Security in todays world. Today technology come to doorstep. Everyone want to drive business smart way rather than traditional but entrepreneur not concern about the security until it gets tampered. Now there are lots of hurdles in securing data, no organisation is sure whether their data is secured on cloud?, their network is secured?. To take care of this type of issues, you must have a division to handle them. Here SNS will plays a major part of giving about the Data Security solutions and give recommendations to secure their data.

Swami: There are many vendors having specialization for different expertise. So, what does any CIO’s top three priorities when it comes to deployment of security?

Santosh: When it comes to securing the enterprise, CIOs certainly have their hands full. Whether it’s implementing new services, managing cloud computing, tackling long-standing challenges like data protection or protecting networks and applications against attacks.

1. Up to date IT infrastructure – more than 90 % attacks are neutralise by updating software patch soon they are available.

2. Upgrade Employees lack security awareness about data – Creating awareness of security and improving management credential

3. Update all asset in Network & determine vulnerabilities of assets.

Swami: As a leading channel partner in the security sector, what are the top 3 key challenges you are facing when it comes to deployment and maintaining of service delivery related to security?

Santosh: When it comes to deployment of security, main challenge is like end users are not easily ready to adopt changes / restriction. Initially we have to convince and educate them at every stage. It takes time to understand and implement new technology. Require to work on lots of network related settings to prevent unauthorised and untrusted users.

Swami: Has security services are still seen as a cost-spend factor or it has been considered as a profit making aspect in IT budget?

Santosh: In most of the companies it is still considered Security measures implementation as cost and time consuming. Even they are very reluctant to make arrangement in annual IT budget. But over the last one year it has been tend to change due to attack of lots of Ransomware, Threats & Hacking. Due to that now most of the comF-Securepanies planning to secure their data & network. For Ransomware we are providing F-Secure End Point Solution and Messaging Gateway.

Swami: What are the key plans of your organization in terms of security services in this financial year?

Santosh: We have tie up with security solution like EPS, Messaging Gateway, APT, VAPT, Data Backup with Data Encryption and DLP and more.

Swami: What are the key verticals you are planning to target?

Santosh: Vertical Market divided into 2 segment viz. sales and sales with support. Everyone is concerned about data security. But what matters is after sale support. Most people prefer vendor who can give after sale support and it’s big challenge to vendor. We are targeting on mid and small size companies and make them aware of how important / crucial to secure their data. By taking simple steps towards implementing security measure they can prevent themselves from important data loss.

Swami: Please let us know your expansion plans in terms of geographical presence, technical expertise and increasing manpower?

Santosh: Currently we are focusing on Maharashtra state only. However, in near future, we are planning to go for PAN-India level. Our main focus will be on SMB and Enterprise Business.

Swami: Please explain your recent awards and accolades?

Santosh: Recently we have been awarded with Gold Partner award by F-secure Corporation.
