When SAP India was announced the Market Unit of the Year 2021, earlier today at our APJ Customer Success Summit, I must admit I was overcome with a myriad of emotions – a full spectrum from exhilaration to pride to gratitude. What the team has accomplished is indeed spectacular. And to be able to do it in a year like 2021 is a glowing testimony to the sheer character of our people, their grit and their passion to deliver on the promise against all odds. Even more amazing was the consistency of performance as we made it a Perfect 4, winning consecutive Market Unit of the Quarter awards from Q1 through Q3 and then the entire year.
What made this success even more remarkable is that it was not a story of mere numbers SAP India also won two more coveted awards, one for our #Humanitarian work during the year and the other for being a #Purpose-led business. I personally regard these recognitions to be even more gratifying than the one for our business performance!
Our customers lie at the centre of everything we do and I am eternally grateful for their continued trust in SAP as a partner of choice for their cloud-led transformation journeys. I must also acknowledge the role of our incredible partners who contributed immensely towards our success. And of course the immense support received from Team APJ and Paul Marriott !
As a leader of this fearless team of champions, I cannot think of anything more that I could have asked of them. Heartiest congratulations on this truly well-deserved recognition and a big Thank You for everything –  I’m already getting goosebumps thinking of our next voyage together.
