1. What are the top priorities for Astrum in India?
Astrum team is seriously working towards building a brand name with a vision for providing innovative products with cutting edge technology at affordable price with best quality, better service to address the huge market potential. Astrum provides innovative technology, designs and high quality products assuring to meet and satisfy the ever-changing market. Astrum is focusing expanding their business by building strong channel community with the new sign-ups of distributors, channel partners across India and associate with the modern retailers.

The Indian computing peripherals sector is poised for the next phase of aggressive growth and is today considered as one of the fastest growing markets globally. The growth of PC peripherals market in India is completely driven by sustainable growth of personal computers in the country, and is predicted to grow up to Rs 44.8 billion by 2015 as per research firms.

3. How are you planning to achieve growth for the company in India? What are the drivers for your growth in India?
Astrum has the plan to have very close association with channel partners and appointing the team which will work along with distributors for channel development. Astrum will also have the presence in modern retail as well as online platforms to make its products and technology available across India. We believe with increasing knowledge the major vertical will be retail, the emerging segment. With our stylish, trendy & technology products we are planning to tie up with modern trade to reach consumers. Within short span, Astrum products are well accepted in the Indian market with the strong marketing and channel strategy.

4. How important would be the channel community for you today?
For brand establishment in any new market, right channel community and strategy is very important. They are the key players in helping the brand to reach out to its end consumers. Astrum enhances to build solid sales and support network by working closely with the business partners in India. Today customers are not only keen about understanding the technology, but are also focusing on how the technology is helping them to meet their demands efficiently. At this point, channel partners get incredible opportunity for transforming themselves from being more product resellers to a complete solution provider with a consultative approach.

5. A lot of vendors are moving towards the online trade, what is your opinion on this? are your products also available on the online shopping marts?
Ecommerce has become one of the leading industries and the future means of business. Online and offline trade has their own pros and cons. We strongly believe in offline trade and at present we do not have our products available on the online shopping marts. 6. What are some of the big challenges that you are facing in India and how do you plan to over these challenges today?
The biggest challenge for Astrum is to meet the customer expectation. Bigger brands like Samsung, Apple are enjoying the benefit of price competitiveness whereas players like us should concentrate on the features, quality at affordable price to get our market share.
