What are the key industries that are present in the Malabar region and how it is different from the market in Kochi or Thiruvananthapuram?
How much the small business and large enterprises think about spending on IT? Are they conservative spenders or they do not mind when a good solution is available?
According to my understanding, SME industries here are yet to understand the value of IT infrastructure while the large enterprises do not mind spending for IT. I would not call the IT investment trend as conservative. However, I will put this way, the approach is more on a reactive as they respond for any issue and less of preparedness in IT happens. I had noticed the amount spent on IT is more in terms of data recovery or another disaster that happens in IT. However, in the recent days, large enterprises have started spending high on security solutions and storage
What are the key business opportunities that are emerging in the Malabar region? How much IT will be a part of the expansion plans of their organizations?
I see their investments are moving towards the cloud. Be it Disaster control or Disaster Recovery, I see a huge change amongst the minds of the co-operative banks. They are ready for DC and DR on Cloud because they feel it is effective in terms of cost and makes their job with ease. So many banks looking for DC and DR for their core banking application we are also planning to start partnering with cloud solution providers.
What are the key clientele and focus areas of DBrains?
Our main focus on BFSI. However, we are also started focusing on large corporate accounts and Government customers to provide better solution and FMS and AMC.
What are the key solutions and industry verticals, DBrains will be focusing in the coming years?
In the days ahead, we will start our focus on next-generation firewall and security solution like HIPS,N AC,AD and DC/DR on Cloud.
What are your expansion plans?
We have already extended our service Pan-Kerala and in future, .we are extending our arms to Karnataka too.
What type of companies you are looking forward to partner with and what are your expectations?
We are having customers requirement from customers where products like Oracle, Palo-Alto for projects like DC- Datacenter, DR-Data Recovery Centre, HIPS-host intrusion prevention system, NAC-Network Access Control and AD- Active Directory. We would be happy to partner with those vendors.
