As we are seeing the crisis in offline IT hardware & software market due to the recent festival sales, Time has come to show our solidarity to protect our businesses from online portals like Flipkart, Amazon and Paytm etc.
The need of the hour is to come together and showcase the power of traditional offline channel system. Most of the members of TCCDA and channel partners sat yesterday to discuss the steps to be taken to protect their business with the ongoing threat with online market.
The following points were decide and advisory was sent to all TCCDA Members as well as channel partners of Hyderabad and Secunderabad:
1) To defer all new purchases from today ie 30th Nov ‘18 till further notice
2) Immediate requirements to be sourced from the channel to reduce overall inventory in the market
3) No Cross Territory Buying and selling
4) No Buying and selling through online platforms
Further course of action to be decided in the general body meeting to be held during 1st week of December’18.
We appeal to all our channel fraternity to abide with the above guidelines to protect ourselves, our businesses, our families and more importantly our employees.
