LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA, India’s only event that depicts the entire range of laser and photonics solutions started today in Bengaluru on September 26, at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. The trade fair brings 159 global suppliers representing 15 countries and customers together to meet their needs and depicts the entire value chain.
The Indian market is warming up to the laser technologies more than ever before. The application industries are open to explore the laser technologies to achieve speed and precision. This year, delegations from The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), government of India and National Aerospace Laboratories attended the trade fair to meet their technological demands.

New laser technologies and valuable supporting programs
On the opening day, 3D Manufacturing summit, the conference on additive manufacturing technology brought together technology leaders, key users and practitioners of additive manufacturing who deliberated on next generation additive manufacturing products and techniques, new techniques and future research in 3D manufacturing while experiencing hands-on demonstrations and case studies.
On the first day alone, numerous top-quality meetings took place at the buyer-seller forum which is expected to enable meaningful business discussions between the attending buyers and the exhibitors at the show. Upcoming events: Smart Manufacturing with Lasers Conference
On day two, 27 September numerous researchers, technology leaders and industry users will come together to attend Smart Manufacturing with LASERS, a first-time ever conference which will help the industry to improve the quality of products and to reduce the manufacturing process costs by working smartly with lasers. One of the presenting application user companies, Arcelor Neel Tailor Blank, is going to present their case study on how they implemented laser technologies to achieve efficiency and productivity in a ‘real-life’ scenario. The attendees will learn from the leaders in manufacturing on how to move from ‘intention’ to ‘action’ and about the cutting-edge technologies in manufacturing.
