Chennai: Concom computers, under the name which Tamil Nadu based Confed-ITA has incorporated a company and selling products, is planning to introduce more products post-GST.
In an chat for Cell IT, Senthil Kumar, former president of the association and the official spokesperson of Concom said, “The response from the members for the first phase of products is overwhelming. We will be coming up with cartridges that would be for INR 300 as dealer price. We are in talks with the manufacturers on the same.”
Senthil said that the IT market currently is a bad shape with the partners are not in an idea what will happen post-GST. “I personally thank the members for their initiatives for nurturing the brand to this level which was just an idea. While the performance of the product is good across the state partners from three markets viz. Salem, Tirunelveli and Virudunagar had worked hard and made good numbers”, he said. He also said that the reason for few markets yet to join the bandwagon is the stringent procedures by the Concom products.
The public-owned company is likely to bring 5 thousand cartridges to the market and other products are
likely to come. “Currently the issue of the partners is to clear the existing stocks and they are busy with the multiple taxes like sales tax, service tax and more. “
Special schemes:
Concom has recently signed up with Bullguard and had recently launched Bangkok trip. “Unlike other companies there is no refunds that are under-the-value. For example, under a scheme for a trip to Bangkok, we provide refund INR 25 Thousand which not every vendor of our range might be providing”, he concluded. The association is planning to tie-up with other association in order to bring many schemes for the members.
