International Data Corporation (IDC) announced it has hired Tim Greene as a Research Director to lead the firm’s large format printer research and to contribute to digital signage and 3D printing research. Greene joins IDC’s U.S. imaging, printing, and document solutions research team.
Greene comes to IDC with over 15 years experience in market research. Most recently, he was Director of InfoTrends’ Wide Format Printing Consulting Service. In this role, he produced a substantive body of research including annual market forecasts and manufacturer market shares; end-user primary research studies; and numerous custom consulting deliverables covering global markets. Prior to that, he was a technology industry analyst and conducted research on topics ranging from Internet technology forecasting to price tracking. Greene holds a B.S.B.A. Degree in Management (cum laude) from Northeastern University.
