Confed-ITA Announces Winners Of Badminton Tournament


Dindigul: Confed-ITA has successfully concluded the badminton tournament in Dindigul recently. In an email to the members, Karthi Keyan, Joint-Secretary of the association had thanked each and everyone of you for the support in making this event a grand success.js2

“We thank our Main event Sponsors HP and AVALON.  I would also thank our host Dindugal Association, president .Xavier, CONFED EC member Dhanpal and all their members for the support extended. I Personally thank Alagappan from Dindugal association for his support in arranging the wonderful court.”, the mail reads.

Karthi Keyan had also thanked the past office bearers of Confed-ITA Easwar and Kumar who had helped him by sharing their past experiences regarding the tournament arrangements and had not missed to thank them at this occasion. ” I also thank our CONFED-ITA Vice President Sureshkumar, who arranged for the shields and our CONFED-ITA Secretary Sunil Kumar, who had arranged for the T-Shirts. Finally, it was our President Ramesh Ramanujam whose efforts that brought in our main sponsors and supported me all the way in organizing this event. “, he concluded in the email communication which he had forwarded to the asssociation.Avalo


The tournament had three categories- Men (Singles), Men (Doubles) and Veteran (Doubles) which is only for members of age above 40. The Joint-Secretary (2) of the association is the chairman of the sports committee is likely to declare the match fixers during the match. Pandikumar from Madurai won the Men-Single category while Kalki Nanada Kumar- Satish Kumar from Karur duo won the doubles category. The veteran category has been bagged by A Ramesh and Karthikeyan from Erode had been named winners.  The runners were also announced in the event.

It has to be noted that such events has always been successful both in terms of strengthening relationships between the association members in terms of both commercial and social aspects.  Even for the vendors, such events might help in reaching out many channel partners at one shot.
