Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will be leaving for Dubai on a 1 day trip on Wednesday evening. The main purpose of this trip is to attract further investments to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
On Thursday, 8th February, the Chief Minister will hold one to one meetings with the heads of Phoenix Group, Sharaf Group, and Danube Group . The same afternoon, he will be meeting Dr. Mohamed Al Zarooni, Director General of Dubai Airport Freezone.
He will also be attending the Partnership Summit 2018, a road show that is expected to further strengthen the relationship between Dubai and AP on the same evening.
The Chief Minister is also expected to invite the business heads of the organizations to participate in the three day partnership conference in Visakhapatnam from 24th of this month.
The primary aim of this one day tour is to strengthen the industrial sector as it is one of the key components of growth of the state and in order to achieve a targeted growth rate of 15%, it is crucial that more companies are brought to AP.
The Chief Minister will be accompanied by a delegation which includes Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishna, Government Advisor Dr. Parakala Prabhakar, Special Chief Secretary Satish Chandra, Principal Secretary G. Sai Prasad, APEDB CEO Jasthi Krishna Kishore and Principal Secretary (Energy) Ajay Jain.
