The CeBIT India, organized by HMFI India, roadshow has been gathering momentum and the city welcomed it with open arms and most of the partners were keen to make use of the opportunity that has come their way.
The roadshow was organized in partnership with BITA, the IT forum in Belgaum which is a part of the state association FiTDAK and was attended by more then 60 partners. Manoj Talreja, president of the BITA association thanked CeBIT India for coming to Belgaum and said that the one year old association is happy to be a part of the CeBIT forum.
Anand Rao Balluru, president of FiTDAK said, “Generally such curtain-raiser roadshows are held only in metros and large towns. We are happy CeBIT India is travelling to key towns in the state. IT exhibitions in recent days have taken a back seat across the country, and there are things beyond internet shopping and CeBIT gives opportunities for CIOs, CXOs to explore technology around the world.”
Explaining the various advantages that women entrepreneurs and people from some section of the society can avail through the MSME schemes, he said that events like CeBIT and PluggedIn will be an all new experience.
MR Bhaskar Rao(IPS), Commissioner of Police Belgaum city & Inspector General of Northern range said: “I am not sure how many of you know the way CeBIT events are organized globally. But we should be happy that CeBIT is here for the people of Karnataka. It is also unbelievable CeBIT has come to Belgaum.” He urged people from the district to ensure that every individual beyond IT resellers should to attend the event and urged the associations to involve students and create awareness.
