Associations In Vijayawada Conduct Various Activities

Vijayawada: Both the key associations of Vijayawada VIJITA and BITA recently conducted slew of events both on sports and social scale.

Bezawada IT Association (BITA) organized Annual Celebrations 2017 on 26th March 2017 at Subhamastu Function Hall, Cherrys Sweets & Bakery Shop, Moghalrajpuram, Vijaywada . It was families get together, almost each and every member of the association attended the event and enjoyed.


President of the Association Bhaskar and Secretary Raj Kumar Baid welcomed, it was followed by the presentation ceremony. According to the forum, these types of family get together are very much effective for the bonding of members which is also good for business and their growth. BITA is one of the active associations in South region which actively works to serve the IT sector and also organize events, meeting and get together for the well being of partners. Association plays a key role in business for partners; association listens to each and every problem faced by members and also supports them if they are cheated by any company to fight against it said, Md.Khaza.


The event also had cricket tournament with name BITA Cricket Cup 2017 in which total 6 teams played i.e. IT Royals, IT Kings, IT Rebls, IT Lions, Dare Distis, Vendor Warrior. Moieen Raja, the capitan of IT Lions was the winner, while the team headed by Leema Prasad of  IT Royals was the runners up.

VIJITA’s Event for a social cause:

To build unity and strengthen relationship among the members and help the channel fraternity maintain physical fitness among, VIJITA has recetnly conducted a cricket tournament ‘Play for the orphans’.


The hightlight of this event is a social cause and meant for dedication to orphans and the ‘Akshaya Patra’ foundation.  Whatever funds raised through this event, were donated to the orphanage.


Total 6 teams played in the cricket series i.e. Jagruti Jaguars, Expert Legends, Vyshanvi WE-Caps_Netfoxarriors, Shree Infocom, Aarvex Challengers, RK Royals. RK Royals team lead by Rakesh was the champion. Some of the key highlights of the event includes Murali Krishna of Expert systems  donating INR 95,000 to the Akshaya Patra Foundation and VIJITA donated INR 35,000 to the orphanage. Some of the vendors who took part in the event were Cisco, Rashi Peripherals, Quick Heal, Intex, Bpe, Lenovo, Samsung, M-Secure and Cyber Power.
